2017 Jones Beach Air Show: Everything You Need To Know
It's the first big event of the summer on Long Island. Here's what you need to know to make it through the weekend.

This weekend, get ready for the 14th annual Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach. The weekend-long event kicks off on Saturday with all the spectacle that people have come to expect from the show.
Last year's show drew 405,000 people over the two days — the largest crowd since 2008. This year's show is expected to be similar, especially with the favorable weather forecast.
The show runs from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event is free, but parking is $10. However, the parking lots fill up quickly — sometimes by 11 p.m. When that happens, the roads are closed off and people are turned away. So if you want to get a space, make sure to get to Jones Beach early.

This year's performers include the Air Force Thunderbirds and the Army parachute team, the Golden Knights. Plus, there will be many other aerial performances from local and civilian pilots and groups. For more information about the scheduled performers, click here.
If you can't make it to the show, you can check out the practice on Friday from noon to 5 p.m. at Jones Beach.
