School Board Evaluates Budget Vote and Election Timeline

Four school board seats will be up for a vote in May, officials said.

The school budget and trustee vote may not be until May 19, 2015, but Huntington School Board trustees are already evaluating a timeline for the election, officials say.

The three-year terms of current trustees Thomas DiGiacomo, Xavier Palacios and Emily Rogan are expiring. Residents will also elect a candidate to fill the unexpired term of Trustee Adam Spector, who passed away last June.

Currently, district officials say trustees are looking at the following timeline.
