School Supply Drive Helps 180 Children in Greenlawn

The backpacks and school supply items were collected by the Dolan Family Health Center last month.

About 180 children were recipients of backpacks and school supplies thanks to the 12th annual Dolan Family Health Center school supply drive held last month.

The health center, located in Greenlawn, collected the items for its children patients.

“Seeing the young student’s faces as they leave the building wearing their new backpacks bursting with school supplies is incredibly rewarding for all the staff that put so much time an energy into this event,” Joseph T. Volavka, PT, senior administrative director of the Dolan Family Health Center, said in a press release.

“We deeply appreciate the generosity and hard work of our staff as well as the support from local community donors who made this possible,” Volavka said.
