HUNTINGTON, NY — ShopRite is coming to Huntington, scheduled for fall 2021, according to reports.

It will mark the first grocery store in the Huntington Commons in 25 years, as the supermarket will replace a portion of the space occupied by Kmart up until last year, Newsday reported. The last grocery store in the Huntington Commons was Pathmark, which closed in 1996, according to Newsday.

Seth Greenfield, who owns five ShopRites on Long Island, will also run the newest store, Huntington Now reported.
