Singer Gloria Estefan Adopts 3 Shelter Pets in Huntington
These pups are moving from the doghouse to a Miami penthouse.

It’s a puppy rags to riches story for three pups who are leaving an animal rescue center in Huntington to go live with their new owner, international singer Gloria Estefan.
Estefan stopped by Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center on Wednesday to finalize the adoption of her new family members.
The dogs came to Little Shelter through Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, a program that helps pet owners who have fallen on hard times and are struggling to feed and provide medical care for their pets.

These particular dogs are Chihuahua/Maltese mixes from an unplanned litter, according to Little Shelter. Now that the dogs are healthy, including one that required a life-saving surgery, and the mother is spayed, they are on their way to their new life.
