South Huntington Schools Closed Monday, No Virtual Learning: Superintendent
The district announced a traditional snow day after updated guidance from the state.
SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY — South Huntington School District schools will be closed Monday, Feb. 23, with no virtual learning for students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade, Superintendent Vito M. D’Elia announced Sunday afternoon.
The district said the closure follows updated guidance received from the New York State Education Department.
The district will continue to monitor weather conditions and will provide additional updates regarding Tuesday.
