THE SPIRIT OF THE NATION

The name of American which belongs to you must always exalt your just pride in patriotism and your union orth to be considered as the main prop of your liberty and the love of the one orth to endear to you the preservation of the other. Americanism is an unfailing love of country, loyalty to its institutions and ideals, eagerness to defend it against all enemies, undivided allegiance to the Flag.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one Nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

It behooves you to safe guard those sacred rights of Life. Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness no less zealously in peace as you have defended them in war. The Flag is very much a part of our daily lives, we must always respect it, because it represents everything we are as Americans everything we hope to be.

The ultimate foundation of a free society is the binding tie of cohesive sentiment, such a sentiment is forced by all those agencies of mind and spirit which may serve to gather up the traditions of the people, transmit them from generation to generation, and thereby create that continuity of a common treasured life which constitutes a civilization.

It is a great mistake on the part of educators today to find an excuse in the name of democracy not to give any traditional understanding to the children. Such ideas necessary originate with those whose motive is to weaken the nation and to rob the people of their national traditions and dignity. As to root out the traditions of a society is the greatest danger that can be done to the welfare of a nation.

It is a great tragedy of man to die before he is fully born; it would be an even greater tragedy for this nation to die before she is fully born, as the destiny of man is the providence of this Nation.

Where and Why:
September 1973
As I sat By A Flag Less Pole
State University at Farmingdale, N.Y. (No Flag On Pole):
Why no American Flag Flying, Where Is Old Glory!
Are those at the University afraid to fly the American Flag because of the protesters, Or was the flag "The American Flag" torn down by the protestors?

I Started To Mourn:
Many A Man, Many A Soldier have died
"So Old Glory" would not fall to the ground,
Or be captured by the enemy:

So Many, So Many, So Many "MEN" (Men= All Those American) given
Given "Their Mind, Body and Soul"
So All Americans and All Man-Kind; (Even Said Protestors)
"Live In Peace and Be Free"
