'Spring Eggstravaganza' For Children at Heckscher Park

There will be an Easter egg hunt, face painting and spring crafts available.

Children ages 3-8 will be able to search for treat-filled eggs around Heckscher Park during a “Spring Eggstravaganza” celebration this month.

The event, presented by Town of Huntington Councilman Mark Cuthbertson, will be held on Thursday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • 3-4 years
  • 5-6 years
  • 7-8 years

In addition to an egg hunt, there will be spring crafts and face painting.

Registration is underway and goes through Monday, March 21 at 9 p.m. Registration is limited and comes on a first come, first serve basis.

How to register: go to tohparks.com and click on the “Register Online” button and then click on "Special Events" to register. Print out the receipt to bring to this event.

Please bring a canned good item to donate to a local food pantry and bring your own baskets or bags to collect goodies. For additional information, call 631-351-2877.
