Stony Brook's Staller Center Honors Recital

Co-Winners Tom Liu and Isabella Wu Win Top Piano Award

The Suffolk Piano Teachers Foundation (SPTF) will honor Tom Liu, third grader at The Mills Pond Elementary School in Saint James as First Place Co-Winner, along with Isabella Wu, fourth grader at Nassakeag Elementary School in East Setauket, of the early intermediate division at the Honors Recital and Awards Ceremony to be held at Stony Brook University's Staller Center Recital Hall on Thursday, June 2, at 5pm. and 7:30 pm.

As first place co-winners, Tom and Isabella will receive their awards, cash prizes, and play their winning pieces, Scenas Infantis No.1: Run, Run! by O. Pinto, and Dance of the Marionettes by M.Tarenghi, respectively. Both Tom and Isabella are students of SPTF President, Esther Chung Marks.

SPTF wishes to honor Barry Tognolini and thank Steinway Gallery of Long Island for their generous cash award donations for all the first place winners of the five-level competition held in March, for first, second, and third place. SPTF is a non-profit organization. Honors recitals are free and open to the public.
