Step Sistas perform community service to Paumanack Village

Apprentice group tap dances for Senior Community

The Step Sistas, the apprenticing group to The Red Hot Mamas, performed at Paumanack Village to the delight of 50 senior residents who live there. This talented group of female tappers, ages 49-74, performed to Broadway Showtunes and Hollywood Musicals. Special guest performer/singer, Janice Weir, wooed the audience with her gift of song. The Sistas recently performed for the Town of Huntington Adult Senior Day Care Center and Hilaire Nursing and Rehab. Center, this past week, as well. Louise Rastu is the director to these wonderful women, who give their time and talent to perform for these senior communities, in our area.
