Suffolk Arrest Report: Robberies, Drugs, Loaded Firearms

A look at some recent arrests in the area.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — All of the following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department.

A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

First Precinct

  • Sept. 28: Klein McClune, 26, of Amityville, was arrested in Amityville and charged with second-degree criminal possession of weapon: loaded firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, and criminal mischief: intent to damage property.
  • Sept. 26: David Balcaceres, 34, of North Babylon, was arrested in Deer Park and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug w/ intent to sell and assault w/ intent to cause physical injury w/ weapon.

Second Precinct

  • Sept. 29: Levar Butts, 27, of Huntington Station, was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm.
  • Sept. 27: Jason Gentry, 23, of Greenlawn, was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug.
  • Sept. 27: Jasson Cruz, 21, of Greenlawn, was arrested in Greenlawn and charged with second-degree assault: intent to cause physical injury to officer, second-degree obstruct governmental administration, and resisting arrest.

  • Sept. 30: Zachary Chandler, 18, of Bay Shore, was arrested in Brentwood and charged with first-degree robbery: displays firearm, second-degree criminal mischief, operator leave scene of property damage accident, second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree flee officer in motor vehicle, and resisting arrest.
  • Sept. 23: Steven Centeno, 26, of Brentwood, was arrested in Brentwood and charged with three counts of second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: 1/2 oz of narcotic drug, one count of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug, and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug.

Fourth Precinct

  • Sept. 28: Emma Wilson-Santos, 20, of the Bronx, was arrested in Commack and charged with third-degree grand larceny.

Fifth Precinct

  • Sept. 28: Traevone Brown, 22, of Sayville, was arrested in East Patchogue and charged with third-degree grand larceny.
  • Sept. 28: Calvin Durham, 58, of Bellport, was arrested in East Patchogue and charged with third-degree grand larceny.
  • Sept. 28: Mark Burgess, 32, of Bellport, was arrested in East Patchogue and charged with third-degree grand larceny and petty larceny.

Sixth Precinct

  • Sept. 28: Robert Carter, 30, of Coram, was arrested in Coram and charged with second-degree robbery: aided by another.
  • Sept. 27: Prince Alberic, 23, of Holbrook, was arrested in Medford and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug w/ intent to sell.
  • Sept. 27: Steven Bodnar, 19, of Holbrook, was arrested in Medford and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug w/ intent to sell.
  • Sept. 26: Willie Lunsford, 57, of Mount Sinai, was arrested in Mount Sinai and charged with third-degree sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug.

Seventh Precinct

  • Sept. 30: Joshua Basile, 35, of Holbrook, was arrested in Bohemia and charged with first-degree robbery: displays firearm, second-degree assault: intent to cause physical injury to officer, and petty larceny.
  • Sept. 28: Mario Malpica, 28, of Mastic, was arrested in Mastic and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug, and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic.
