SUV Overturns, Takes Down Telephone Pole In Suffolk County
The crash occurred Saturday afternoon.

A vehicle that overturned on the front lawn of a Huntington Station home caused a telephone pole to fall over on Saturday afternoon, responders say.
The Huntington Community First Aid Squad responded to the single-vehicle crash at the corner of West Hills Road and West 22nd St. at 4:30 p.m.
HCFAS says the SUV, driven by a 22-year-old woman, hit the telephone pole, which caused the pole to snap off at the base and hang by the wires. After hitting the pole, the SUV overturned on the front lawn of a home, trapping the driver.
