Teen Shot in Leg in Greenlawn
The shooting occurred just after midnight Sunday, police say.
Police are investigating a shooting Greenlawn early Sunday that injured a Northport teen.
According to police, Second Precinct officers responded to the area of Stuyvesant Street between Crown Avenue and Brand Drive after a 911 caller reported a shooting at 12:01 a.m.
When officers arrived, they discovered Aaron Jolly, 18, lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his right leg, police said.

An investigation by Second Squad detectives revealed that Jolly was shot by an unknown person while he was standing in the street. Jolly was transported to Huntington Hospital where he was treated and released.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
