Thomas J. Lahey School Ranks Among Best in State
Niche.com ranked the top 100 elementary schools in New York.

Thomas J. Lahey School in the Harborfields Central School District was ranked as the 87th best elementary school in New York, based on new rankings of the 100 top schools in the state from Niche.com.
A Huntington elementary school was also ranked among the best in the state.
A school in the Cold Spring Harbor School District is the highest ranked school in Suffolk County.

According to Niche, a high ranking indicates that “students are happy with their experiences in all aspects, especially academics, teachers, and diversity,” “the school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes,” and “the school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture.”
