Town of Huntington to Host 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Sunday

The Town of Huntington will host a remembrance ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 11 in honor of the 15th anniversary of that tragic day.

There will be memorials around the tri-state area to remember the fallen. In the Town of Huntington, there will be a small ceremony at 12 p.m. at the 9-11 Memorial in Heckscher Park.

The community will remember the 2,997 people whose lives were lost on Sept. 11, 2001, including 43 residents from Huntington who were killed.
