Veterans Day Wreath Ceremony to Honor Armed Forces in Huntington
Members of the community are invited to attend.

All members of the community are invited to attend the Town of Huntington’s Annual Veterans Day Wreath Ceremony to mark the anniversaries of the various branches of the United States Armed Forces on Sunday, Nov. 8.
The ceremony, which kicks off at 9 a.m., will include a performance by the Long Island Children’s Choir and a traditional ceremony on the front lawn of Town Hall, located at 100 Main St.

- The 240th anniversaries of the founding of the United States Army, Navy and Marines
- The 225th anniversary of the founding of the United States Coast Guard
- The 68th anniversary of the founding of the United States Air Force.
Memorial wreaths will be placed at each of the monuments in the plaza by Supervisor Frank P. Petrone, members of the Town Council and representatives from the Town’s Veterans Advisory Board.
