Voter's Guide: Harborfields 2017-18 School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Harborfields residents will vote on the school district’s $84,174,956 proposed budget for the 2017-18 school year on Tuesday, May 16.
The proposal calls for a 1.59 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 1.68 percent, which is within the state's tax cap.
Polls will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Oldfield Middle School auditorium.

Four candidates are running for two seats on the Board of Education, according to Newsday. They are incumbent David Steinberg, Christopher Kelly, Lauri Levenberg and Anila Nitekman.
