Voter's Guide: Harborfields School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Harborfields residents will vote on the school district’s $82,859,569 proposed budget for the 2016-17 school year on Tuesday, May 17.
The proposal calls for a 2.96 percent increase in spending over the current year and a 1.52 percent tax levy increase, which exceeds the tax levy cap of 0.37 percent. This tax levy increase, however, is the lowest increase in 20 years and includes a full-day kindergarten program for next year. Exceeding the tax levy cap means the budget must be approved by 60 percent.
