Voter's Guide: South Huntington 2017-18 School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

South Huntington residents will vote on the school district’s $162,794,840 proposed budget for the 2017-18 school year on Tuesday, May 16.
The proposal calls for a 2.38 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 1.41 percent, which is the allowable tax levy cap, according to Newsday.
Three candidates are seeking two seats on the Board of Education, LongIslanderNews reports. They are Andrew Bronson, Sidney Joyner and Thomas Teresky.

Polls will be open from 3 to 10 p.m. at Walt Whitman High School.
