Third annual Spring into the Mall Kids Expo will connect families with Long Island's best child-friendly resources and essentials
Walt Whitman Shops will host the third annual Spring into the Mall Kids Expo, an event connecting families with Long Island’s best child-friendly resources and essentials, on Saturday, March 19, 2016.
Taking place from 12 to 5 p.m. in Center Court, Spring into the Mall Kids Expo will present families with a wealth of information focusing on children’s services, products and more.
“We are pleased to host this event once again and provide local families with access to Long Island-based products and services tailored especially for children,” commented Mathew Boals, general manager for Walt Whitman Shops. “This is a great opportunity to explore and connect one-on-one with industry experts while enjoying a fun afternoon.”
The exhibitors that will be on-site at Walt Whitman Shops include Achieve Beyond (ABA and therapies for special needs children); Juice Plus+/Tower Garden (whole-food based nutrition products); New York Life (college planning options, financial planning); Camp W (camp with elective programs); Village East Gifted (gifted after school, summer and kindergarten programs); KinderVision / The Greatest Save Safety Program (prevention of exploitation of children); Ultimate Games Camp (summer multi–sport camp for kids); Summer Term @ Ross (overnight summer program), All Kids Fair (upcoming expo for families) and more.
Visitors will be treated to delicious crepes, compliments of Crazy Crepe Café. Children in attendance can take advantage of free face painting by Dina’s Dynamics and a moon bounce and flavored popcorn, courtesy of Hottracxs Entertainment. New York Life will distribute free Child ID Kits to participants and children will receive age-appropriate individual safety videos personalized on the spot by KinderVision / The Greatest Save Safety Program.
On the main stage, guests can enjoy a three-song performance by Adiel Torres, a 12-year-old bilingual singer who participated in the Spanish-version of The Voice Kids (La Voz Kids). GAALS – Girls Athletics and Life Skills – will do a stage demonstration as well.
