WATCH: Police Release Oheka Castle Shooting Surveillance Footage
Suffolk County Police released the 2-year-old video to the public on Thursday.
Suffolk County Police released surveillance footage of Oheka Castle owner Gary Melius being shot in the head by a mysterious gunman two years ago.
The release of this video comes shortly after SCPD announced they asked the FBI to help investigate the Feb. 24, 2014 incident.
The footage, which was released Thursday morning, shows Melius walking to his vehicle at approximately 12:30 p.m.

A black car can be seen driving slowly around the parking lot as someone dressed in all black gets out of a parked SUV, carefully approaches Melius, shoots him in the head and re-enters the vehicle.
The actual shooting is not seen on video.

Melius has since recovered from the incident, but is still in search of the person who tried to kill him two years ago. He is offering a six-figure reward to anyone who can provide information that leads to his shooter’s arrest.
