HUNTINGTON, NY — The Walt Whitman Birthplace Museum, nestled behind the mall that bears the iconic poet's name, is holding a time capsule event on Friday afternoon.
Museum executive director Cynthia Shor, a guest on Monday's "Patch AM," said it's coordinated with Whitman's 200th birthday in 2019, but delayed due to the pandemic.
