SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Election Day 2019 has come and gone. The unofficial results for Suffolk County Legislature District 17 are in.

Democratic incumbent Tom Donnelly defeated Republican challenger Rebecca Lonardo and Libertarian challenger Michael McDermott by a margin of 8,032 votes to 4,534 and 155, respectively. With 68 of 69 districts reporting, Patch has called the race for Donnelly.
