Woman Crashes Lexus Into Melville Townhouse, Charged With DWI: Police
A Melville woman was charged with DWI after police said her Lexus left the road and crashed into a townhouse.
MELVILLE, NY — A woman was arrested on a drunken driving charge after crashing a vehicle into a Melville townhouse Thursday evening, Suffolk County police said.
Marianne Young, 66, of Melville, was driving a 2026 Lexus northbound on Northgate Circle when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a townhouse at 66 Northgate Circle at about 5:33 p.m., police said.
Young was taken to Huntington Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to police.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
