Woman Found Dead In Huntington Apartment: Police

HUNTINGTON, NY — A woman's body was found in her Huntington apartment on Monday, Suffolk police said.

The Elm Street property's landlord called 911 at 2:08 p.m. Monday to ask that police check on the welfare of a tenant who had not been seen for several days, police said. Officers found the woman dead in her apartment, police said.

The woman’s name is being withheld by police pending notification of next of kin. An autopsy will be performed to determine her cause of death.
