Woman Shot, Seriously Injured In Huntington: Police
A 40-year-old woman was shot early Thursday, police say.
GREENLAWN, NY — A woman was seriously injured in a shooting early Thursday in Huntington police said.
The shooting happened on Leigh Street at 12:52 a.m., police said.
The 40-year-old woman was shot by a man during a domestic incident, police said. The shooter fled the scene, police said.

She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
