Woman Shot Inside Greenlawn Home: Police
The shots were fired from outside the home early Wednesday, police say.
GREENLAWN, NY — A woman was shot in Greenlawn early Wednesday, Suffolk police said.
The 28-year-old was on the second floor of a home on Stuyvesant Street, near Broadway, when she was struck in the hip by one of several gunshots fired from outside the residence at around 12:10 a.m., police said. She was brought to Huntington Hospital for treatment of injuries that are not considered life-threatening. No one else was injured.
