Woman Snatches Credit Card, Uses It In Huntington: Police

The card was stolen from an unlocked 2007 Toyota earlier July, police say. The woman is wanted for grand larceny.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the woman who police say stole and used a credit card in July.

A woman stole a credit card from an unlocked 2007 Toyota in a parking lot on Main Street in Cold Spring Harbor at 2:15 p.m. July 14, police said. The credit card was later used at CVS, at 63 New York Ave., and Home Depot, at 785 New York Ave., both in Huntington, police said. She is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
