The utility expects most customers back online by Monday and is offering dry ice and bottled water at the West Hurley Hannaford for affected residents while high winds and rain continue today.
• Woodstock man faces charges over work he didn't complete, Ulster County Sheriff's Office says (dailyfreeman.com) — A Hurley resident is among the alleged victims of a Woodstock contractor now facing felony grand larceny and fraud charges after authorities say he took money for projects he never finished. Investigators say the Hurley victim paid over $2,600 for a custom bookshelf that was not completed and received a refund check that later bounced, leading to the man's arrest last week.
