• Students discover conservation at Hamilton County Field Day (adirondackexplorer.org) — Students from Indian Lake Central School joined classmates from across Hamilton County for the 47th annual Conservation Field Day, spending a rainy September day learning hands-on lessons about local wildlife, water quality, and ecology. From loon biology and invasive plants to mushroom growing and moose ecology, teachers say the outdoor program helps kids appreciate the natural resources they enjoy every day in and around Indian Lake.
