19th Annual Summer Main Street Festival To Take Place This Weekend

Summer may not official be here yet, but Islip residents can celebrate early at the 19th annual Summer Main Street Festival this weekend.

The event, sponsored by the Islip Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Sunday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from the Town Hall to Smith Avenue.

Once again, guests can enjoy over 200 vendors, live entertainment, food, a dunk tank, face painting, rides, raffle and more.

However, there will be some changes to this year's event.

This year, rather than hiring a festival company the Chamber of Commerce will be choosing the vendors and there will also be a video game trailer located near Tellers on 605 Main Street in Islip, according to a report in Greater Bay Shore.
