2 Hurt In 2-Vehicle Crash Involving Overturn In Islip: Police
Both drivers were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.
ISLIP, NY — Two people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle overturned in Islip on Wednesday night, Suffolk police said.
A man was driving a 2019 Honda northbound on Smithtown Avenue, as a 2005 Toyota was turning from the westbound lane on Railroad Avenue onto northbound Smithtown Avenue, police said, adding that the vehicles collided, with the Honda flipping over.
Both drivers were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
