$2K Reward Offer For Info On Ritualistic Sacrifice In Islip: SPCA
Last month, SPCA officials found dead chickens that they believed were used in a ritualistic sacrifice.
ISLIP, NY β A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest of the person or persons responsible for a ritualistic sacrifice in Islip last night, according to the Suffolk County SPCA. Detectives responded Monday April 20, to a report of a dead chicken found in a stream on Brook Street along with other items including a candle, ribbon, and a religious statue found nearby, the SPCA said.
According to Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk County SPCA, a renowned occult specialist and author of "Goddess of Death" Marcos Quinones was consulted. After he reviewed the evidence, Quinones determined that it appears to be ritualistic in nature and that the articles found are symbols of an offering to Oshun, goddess of the rivers and lake.
Gross is asking the public for their help and share and information they may have, with the Suffolk County SPCA, relating to this incident and any other information about ritualistic or acts of Animal Cruelty with the Suffolk SPCA at (631) 382-7722. All calls are kept confidential.
