The decision reverses an earlier town building division finding and has prompted concern from civil rights advocates who say they're reviewing whether Muslim students and institutions are being treated fairly.
• A nor'easter is strengthening near the East Coast. These cities will be hit hard. (adn.com) — Islip is in the bull's-eye of a strengthening nor'easter, with forecasters warning of up to 5 inches of rain, damaging winds, and at least moderate coastal flooding during several high tide cycles.
