ISLIP, NY - An Islip home was burglarized on Saturday evening, according to Suffolk Police. The burglar entered a Maple Street home at about 5 p.m. The burglar came in through unlocked window. Bay Shore, NY — The heart of Bay Shore is coming alive once again as the Our Bay Shore Farmers Market officially returns to the Bandshell, bringing fresh flavors, local vendors, and community connection back to the waterfront.
Beginning Friday, May 22nd, the Farmers Market will take place every Friday from 3:00–7:00 PM, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to shop local, support small businesses, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that makes Bay Shore so special.
Presented by South Shore Farmers Market, this weekly gathering will feature a curated mix of local farmers, food artisans, and vendors, all set against the iconic backdrop of the Bay Shore Bandshell. The market is designed to be welcoming, walkable, and family-friendly, perfect for an after-work stop or a stroll before the weekend begins.
