Fire Breaks Out At Abandoned Islip Terrace Home

No injuries were reported.

ISLIP TERRACE, NY - A fire broke out at an abandoned Islip Terrace home on Tuesday morning.

The Islip Fire Department was dispatched for a reported structure fire at 22 Lincoln Avenue at about 6 a.m.

Responding firefighters discovered a fire in the basement which extended to the first floor.

The department worked to put out the fire along with help form the the Central Islip, East Islip, and Islip Fire Departments.

No injuries were reported. It is still unknown what caused the fire.
