Firefighters Rescue Woman Trapped Between Train, Platform
The woman's leg became trapped at the Islip train station Tuesday morning.
ISLIP, NY - Firefighters rescued a woman whose leg became trapped between the train and the platform at the Islip train station on Tuesday morning.
The Islip Fire Department responded to the station at 6:30 a.m. where they found the woman was awake and alert.
Crews used air bags to extricate the woman.

She was quickly freed and transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.
No other injuries were reported.
