Four Vehicles Set on Fire in Islip

BREAKING: The fire is believed to be "criminal in nature," according to Suffolk Police.

ISLIP, NY - Police are investigating a fire that occurred in Islip on Monday morning that they believe is "criminal in nature."

According to Suffolk Police, a call came in at about 4:55 a.m. for a fire at Anderson Tree Service on the eastbound service road of Sunrise Highway between Saxon Avenue and Commack Road.

Four vehicles were set on fire and a building on the property suffered damage from the burning vehicles, police said.
