Islip Recognizes Small Businesses

ISLIP, NY – The Town of Islip Economic Development Commission honored 8 small businesses within the Town at its 2018 Small Business Awards event recently.

Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter, William Mannix, CEcD, Director and members of the Town Board, celebrated the business owners and their success stories.

"Small businesses are the fabric of our communities and Islip is a great place to be a small business owner," said Supervisor Carpenter. The Town strives to provide an efficient and thorough experience, from a grand opening to a major expansion," she said.

Recognized this year were:

McGuire, Pelaez & Bennett P.C. Attorneys at Law, Central Islip; Fire Island Ferries, Bay Shore; Retlif Testing Laboratories, Ronkonkoma; Cunningham Air Duct & Chimney Services, Bayport; Caroline's Flower Shoppe, Islip; Viper Studios, Inc., Ronkonkoma and Our Little Italy Pizza and Pasta, West Islip.

The awards ceremony took place at Trio at Holbrook Country Club.
