Islip Town Donates Hundreds Of Toys To Angel Tree Program

Town employees, UPSEU representatives, and private donors contributed to the toy drive.

From the Town of Islip: Representatives from the Salvation Army arrived at Town Hall, to collect the hundreds of toys that were so generously donated to the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program by Town employees, UPSEU representatives, and private donors.

Bicycles, scooters, toys, a dollhouse, and much, much more, were wrapped and ready for distribution to the 80 'angels' adopted for the holidays this year. 'Our employees, and union representatives have shown such tremendous generosity. Each year, they go above and beyond for the Angel Tree program and it's truly heartwarming to witness this incredible spirit of giving,' said Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
