Man Robs East Islip Gas Station At Gunpoint: Police
BREAKING: Have you seen this man? Police are looking for him.
EAST ISLIP, NY - Police are looking for a man who robbed an East Islip gas station at gunpoint early Monday.
The man (pictured above) entered the USA station at 169 Carleton Avenue at 1:15 a.m. and displayed what appeared to be a silver automatic handgun in his waistband, police said.
He then stole over $500 in cash, three cartons of Newport cigarettes and other items, police said.

He fled northbound on Carleton Avenue in a 2006-2009 grey Ford Escape (pictured below) with dark grey bumpers, no front license plate and 2 LED lights bolted to the hood with visible wires running to the engine compartment.

The man was described as 30-32 years old, about 5-foot-6, 190 pounds, with short dark hair and large tattoos on both forearms.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
