Man Shot Outside Central Islip Home

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - A 23-year-old man was shot outside a home in Central Islip early Saturday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was shot on Fig Street at 2:40 a.m.

He was transported to Southside Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is continuing.
