Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Car
The driver of the car was also hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

NORTH GREAT RIVER, NY - A pedestrian was seriously injured after getting hit by a car in North Great River on Sunday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Jacquelyn Hannan, 52, of Great River was crossing Connetquot Avenue at Cedarhurst Street when she was struck by a 2014 Hyundai Sonata traveling northbound on Connetquot Avenue at 8:05 p.m.
Hannan was transported with serious injuries to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.

The driver of the Hyundai, Dominick Padurano, 70, of Bohemia, was also transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was treated and released.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. The investigation is continuing.
