Suffolk Police To Host National Night Out Tonight
BREAKING: The event, taking place at locations across the county, will include food, entertainment, prizes and more.

Suffolk County Police will once again participate in National Night Out on Tuesday.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes partnerships between the police and the community.
Each precinct will participate in the event which includes food, entertainment, child safety kits, prizes and giveaways.

Guests can also explore police, fire and EMS vehicles as well as learn about safety programs and resources offered by the police department; and meet the police officers who work day in and day out to keep our neighborhoods safe.
"It's a great opportunity to meet and get to know police officer that are serving the community," Police Commissioner Timothy Sini said.

Last year, the event had a total of 4,000 participants.

- First Precinct - Wyandanch Park on Mount Avenue in Wyandanch from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Second Precinct - Manor Field Park on East 5th Street in Huntington Station from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Third Precinct - Gil Hodges Park on 3rd Avenue in Brentwood from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Fourth Precinct - Target on 98 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Fifth Precinct - Martha Avenue Park on Martha Avenue in Bellport from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Sixth Precinct - Sky Zone on 269 NY-25A in Mount Sinai from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Seventh Precinct - William Floyd High School on 240 Mastic Beach Road in Mastic Beach from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
