Three Injured In Southern State Parkway Crash

ISLIP, NY — Three people were hospitalized after a crash on the Southern State Parkway in Islip Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Crews from both the Islip and Brentwood fire departments responded to the crash on the parkway just west of Route 111.

Firefighters found a two-car crash with an overturn with all occupants out of the vehicles.

All three people injured were transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore. The extent of their injuries is unclear.
