Town of Islip First Half Taxes Due by Tuesday

Town of Islip officials announced to local taxpayers that the first half taxes are due by Tuesday the latest.

On January 10, the office of the Receiver of Taxes will be open late for payment of taxes until 7 p.m. The office is located on 40 Nassau Avenue.

Payments made by Tuesday will not have any penalty.

After Tuesday, one percent per month will be added to the first half payment.

Second half taxes are due and payable at this office without penalty on or before Wednesday, May 31, 2017, after which date additional penalty and interest will be charged by the County Comptroller.
