Two Arrested For Assaulting, Robbing Man In Central Islip

The duo kicked and punched the man before robbing him on Sunday, police say.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY - Two men were arrested for robbing a man in Central Islip on Sunday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

Anthony Gilbert, 20, of Bay Shore, and James Bretwon, 23, of Central Islip, both punched and kicked a man on East Suffolk Avenue at about 11:55 a.m. and stole his money, police said.

Both were arrested and charged with second degree robbery, according to police.
