Woman Robbed Suffolk Pharmacy: Police

BREAKING: The 62-year-old was arrested on Friday.

ISLIP, NY - An East Islip woman was arrested for robbing a pharmacy in Islip on Friday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.

Patricia Titcomb, 62, entered the Islip Pharmacy on 437 Main Street at 2:20 p.m. and approached an employee, police said.

She told the employee that she had a gun and demanded Oxycontin, police said.

The employee complied with her demands and she fled the store on foot.

A short time later, police arrested Titcomb in her car on Union Boulevard and Champlin Avenue in East Islip, police said.

She was charged with third degree robbery, police said.

She is scheduled to be arraigned on Saturday.
