QUEENS, NY — The 14th annual Momo Crawl is returning to Jackson Heights this weekend.
More than 30 Tibetan and Nepali vendors will participate in the event dedicated to the popular dumpling known as momo.
The crawl will be held on Sunday, Sept. 13 from noon to 5 p.m. at Diversity Plaza on 37th Road between 73rd and 74th streets.
Attendees can sample $1 momos from participating vendors throughout the day and vote for their favorite in the competition for the coveted Momo Championship Belt.
To participate in the voting and tasting crawl, visitors can purchase a $15 passport, with proceeds supporting Students for a Free Tibet.
The event will offer a chance to experience the neighborhood's vibrant Tibetan and Nepali food culture while supporting a community-focused cause.
