VIDEO: FDNY Responds To Car Fire On Long Island Expressway
A car caught on fire early Monday morning on the Long Island Expressway in Rego Park.

REGO PARK, NY - A car caught on fire on the Long Island Expressway near Junction Boulevard just before 8 a.m. Monday. The FDNY posted a video on Twitter of firefighters at the scene in Rego Park.
No one was injured, a department spokesperson said, and there are no road closures. Firefighters put out the fire, but the car hasn't yet been removed from the scene — an eastbound service road.

The car fire happened on the expressway between Junction Boulevard and 108th Street, where Corona borders Rego Park.
